Part of Hearts Without Borders, this work honors the many layers of Panamanian identity from its Indigenous and Afro-Panamanian heritage to the cultures, traditions, music, landscapes, and stories that have met and evolved at this crossroads of the world.
It is a heart that connects rather than separates a reminder that borders can define a place, but our stories, cultures, and humanity have always found ways to travel beyond them.
